NAVAJO SANTA PREPARING FOR 2004 DELIVERY!
November 15, 2004

SALT LAKE CITY, UT. — With the help of dedicated volunteers Navajo Santa saw a flurry of activity on Monday, November 15 as preparations for the yearly Navajo Santa giveaway and sub-for-santa deliveries on the Navajo Reservation were being organized. 400 green food boxes were filled with large cans of chile, beef stew, green beans, corn, peas, peaches and fruit cocktail. 400 red food boxes were stocked with coffee, baking powder, Crisco, salt, sugar, ramen noodles and a small gift. 250 hygiene kits were put together and all loaded onto 14 pallets ready to be placed in trucks and delivered to Bluff, Utah our staging location.

This years delivery will be made over the weekend of December 4th and 5th and will be our largest to date! Navajo Santa is fortunate to have thoughtful donors that allow us the means to make this program a success.

Thank you to the volunteers helping with the sorting, packing and loading of the food packages and hygiene kits: Olivia Agras, Renee Athay, Debbie Dahl, Jenna Dahl, Kacee Dahl, Valli Durham, Shannon Gibbons, Jane Harrison, Sadie Hoagland, Kathryn Miller, Sharyl Noble and Jantzie Orton.
